Why Use a 6 Lane Sachet Packing Machine for Pharmaceutical Powder?

For small-dose products such as 4g pharmaceutical powder sachets, a multi-lane machine can produce several small packs at the same time while maintaining a relatively compact machine layout.

Compared with a single-lane sachet machine, the 6 lane sachet packing system is especially suitable for manufacturers that need higher output for small sachets.

For this Morocco project, the machine was also equipped with:

• SUS316 product-contact surfaces

• Industrial dust collection system

• Anti-static device

• Vibration device

• Safety door switch with automatic machine stop when the door is opened

• French, English and Chinese HMI languages

These configurations were selected according to the customer's actual production requirements.

Accurate 4 Side Seal Sachet Formation

The customer required a finished sachet size of 60 mm × 90 mm, with:

6 mm vertical sealing width and 8 mm horizontal sealing width.

The machine uses a 4 side seal structure, providing a neat and professional sachet appearance for pharmaceutical powder packaging.

A straight easy-tear notch is also added to make the small sachet convenient for consumers to open.

Suitable for Small Dose Powder Packaging

This project demonstrates how a 6 lane auger screw sachet packing machine can be customized for small-dose powder products.

It can be considered for applications such as pharmaceutical powders, medical powders, nutritional powders and other fine powder products requiring small sachet sizes and multi-lane packaging.

A multi lane auger screw sachet packing machine can be used for small-dose pharmaceutical powder. In this Morocco project, we used an SF-720 6 lane machine for approximately 4g / 5ml powder in 60 × 90 mm sachets.

Can a 6 lane machine make 4 side seal sachets?

Yes. This project uses a 6 lane 4 side seal sachet packing machine, allowing six small sachets to be produced simultaneously.

Can the powder-contact parts be made of 316 stainless steel?

Yes. According to this production order, the machine body uses SUS304, while the product-contact surfaces are upgraded to SUS316 stainless steel.
